capewinelandstour.com is run by Patrick Kühne, an independent travel publisher based in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, Germany. He builds and maintains a small portfolio of guides to attraction tickets and day tours — including hoponcapetown.com and capetown-helicopter.com for Cape Town itself. There is no agency and no rotating editorial team behind this site: the pages are researched, written and kept up to date by one person — the same one who answers the e-mails.
What this site does
Wine tours in the Cape Winelands look alike on booking platforms, but they differ in what matters: whether the tastings are included or paid on the day, whether lunch is part of the deal, how big the group is and where the day starts and ends. The product names rarely make those differences obvious. We describe what each tour actually includes, based on the inclusions listed on its product page, and show live prices so the choice can be made in one place. We are not a booking agent: every reservation happens on GetYourGuide.
How we earn money
